Happy Birthday Andy Warhol

Today is Andy Warhol's birthday, one of the most influential artists of this century. Although he has passed away his legacy lives on and he is still one of the most well-known and captivating artists of our time.

In the 1960s, Warhol created several "mass-produced" images from photographs
of celebrities such as Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe

Warhol inspired and influenced countless people, including eyewear designers. Anne et Valentin's popular Factory collection is inspired by and named after Warhol's famous factory in NYC.  Original and rich in colour, the collection is created to be easy to wear, even in the case of the shy customer who dares not dare.

The Anne et Valentine Factory Ten, Eleven, and Twelve collections are now available at Spectacle Queen St.  The collection is named after and inspired by Andy Warhol's famed factory in New York City.

The eyewear is polished and then cut on the top and along the temples again to give the frames a raw feel in these areas while the rest is smooth.  Original and rich in colour, the collection is created to be easy to wear, even in the case of the shy customer who dares not dare.

Happy Victoria Day!

AKA Fête de la Reine for our Francophone friends or May 2-4 for the Canadian beer aficionados out there.

In celebration of Victoria Day, Spectacle's Yonge St & Queen St west locations will be closed on Monday May 21st, however our Distillery District location will be open 12 - 5pm.
