Happy Birthday to one of our close friends and amazing eyewear designer Garrett Leight.  His personal line, Garrett Leight California Optical, is carried by Spectacle and we recently received some new pieces for Spring / Summer 2013!

We just received a brand new Garrett Leight eyeglass - the Ashland.  The Ashland is unique in design with its acetate front and metal temples.

Garrett Leight's eyewear company was founded in 2010 in Venice, California.  As the son of Oliver Peoples creator Larry Leight, Garrett deeply values his eyewear background and West Coast roots.  The company is commonly referred to as "GLCO", short for "Garrett Leight California Optical", to let his fans know California is still very much an inspiration to all of his designs and creative process.

Based on the places and faces in and around Venice Beach CA where his lifestyle shop A. Kinney Court is based GLCO captures the essence of California cool effortlessly.
