Mosley Tribes presents A Native Perspective

Mosley Tribes put together a sick little documentary last year featuring artist Darren Vigil Gray, check out the preview.....

The MT team have been really inspired by DVG and his art over the last season or so, a shop favorite of this marriage of inspiration is the Limited Edition Beaded Lyndel that Jenny Dayco designed.

Conveniently this frame is back in stock at Spectacle Queen St W. Come on by and grab em before they are gone forever.

Goldsmith Means Glasses!!!!

The wonder kids at Oliver Goldsmith sent us a really boss little magazine recently.

It had a bunch of old ads they had placed way back in the 60's and 70's in such prestigious mags as Vanity Fair and Vouge.

We decided to take these cool images and make a display out of it, because that is just the type of creative people we are.

Inside the display you will find a plethora of goodies highlighting the illustrious history of the OG brand and its recent re launch with Claire Goldsmith at the helm.

Oliver Goldsmith is considered the inventor of the fashion sunglass and was originally established way back in 1926, that's the kind of legacy we at Spectacle can really get behind.

Thanks to the whole Goldsmith family for making such timeless designs, Spectacle Loves You

Coco Said It Best.................

"A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous,"
-Coco (Gabrielle) Chanel

The season's hottest Chanel specs have arrived at Spectacle on Yonge Street! This selection from the Paris design house ties it's collection of eyewear and sunwear together with another Coco Chanel trademark.

Taking inspiration from Chanel’s "House of Desrues" makers of hand-made buttons exclusively for Chanel...buttons used throughout her collections, Karl Lagerfeld has continued the tradition incorporating the buttons on the arms of the new glasses and sunwear.

The collection features four styles of “Bouton” frames models sculpted in lightweight acetate: Single Button, Two Buttons, Three Buttons and Secret Box. They provide chic decorative elements to structures that are simultaneously timeless and contemporary.

Barton Perrreira Loves 2011

Kicking of the new year with a bang, the Barton Perreira team has unvailed their latest media campaign................

Looks like a nice continuation of last years ads featuring Giovanni Ribisi. You may remember said advertisements from the window display we did up last fall.

We are expecting some big big things from Barton P this year including a new shipment of many of the frames in this video and a very special collaboration that we will be housing exclusively.

As always stay tuned to the blog for more info in the upcoming days and don't forget, Spectacle Loves You!!!
