Last night Spectacle welcomed one of the most iconic eyewear designers around: Claire Goldsmith.

Spectacle Welcomes Designer Claire Goldsmith on March 11th!

Save the date!  On March 11th from 4pm to 7pm, British eyewear designer Claire Goldsmith will be at our Queen St. West boutique.  Be the first to preview her Spring / Summer 2013 collection and place an order for new colours and styles before anyone else!

Giveaways include mugs, tea, candies, and much more!

Claire will also be doing personal fittings and giving away British themed gifts during her visit.  She'll have her collections on display along with some unique, limited edition Oliver Goldsmith vintage styles!

OG is the OG of the sunglass game if you catch our drift. Having been established in 1926 and considered to be the first company to put a "fashion tint" in sunglasses. They have done designs to fit all types people from Michael Caine to Grace Kelly and everyone in between. Goldsmith Means Glasses!!!!

The wonder kids at Oliver Goldsmith sent us a really boss little magazine recently.

It had a bunch of old ads they had placed way back in the 60's and 70's in such prestigious mags as Vanity Fair and Vouge.

We decided to take these cool images and make a display out of it, because that is just the type of creative people we are.



Inside the display you will find a plethora of goodies highlighting the illustrious history of the OG brand and its recent re launch with Claire Goldsmith at the helm.





Oliver Goldsmith is considered the inventor of the fashion sunglass and was originally established way back in 1926, that's the kind of legacy we at Spectacle can really get behind.
