You may have seen Phil dancing around Toronto or on stage with Solange when she played here earlier this year. His YouTube dance videos have been mentioned by everyone from Ellen to Ke$ha and he's been a friend of Spectacle for years!



According to Phil, his dancing all started "one Christmas when I was totally broke and decided to make a video of me dancing in a park to 'Single Ladies'.  We filmed another and another and we just couldn't stop!  We only ever do it in one take and peoples' reactions are hilarious".  Phil also says that he gets some really touching responses from his videos - "people thank me for making them happy and that's why I love to do it!".

TD Toronto Jazz Festival Starts Today

Today is the beginning of the TD Toronto Jazz Festival.  The festival runs from June 20th until June 29th with events happening throughout the city.  It's known as one of North America's premier jazz festivals and includes performances from Willie Nelson, Smokey Robinson, and many more.

The Power Law has a combination finish consisting of polished and "rough" unpolished acetate which ic! berlin discovered by chance.  The "rough" acetate was found by the design team when it was presented at a brainstorming meeting due to a tight deadline where everyone, including Ralph, fell in love with the unpolished acetate edges. The rough Power Law is used to show off authentically how the eyewear was born by showcasing each layer for the wearer.
