Christian Louboutin Exhibit on Now at Design Exchange!

Christian Louboutin is a high fashion designer from France and you'd probably recognize his shoes by their signature red-lacquered soles.  From now until September 15th, Design Exchange in Toronto is holding a special exhibition in conjunction with The Design Museum London that celebrates the iconic designer's career that has pushed the boundaries of fashion and shoe design.

The exhibit reveals the artistry and theatricality of Louboutin's shoe design from stilettos to lace-up boots, studded sneakers, and bejeweled pumps.  Don't miss out on this great opportunity to experience high fashion on a whole new level!

The Food Dudes Annual Block Party is Happening This Wednesday!

The Food Dudes annual Block Party is happening this Wednesday at the Muzik Bier Gardens!  This year, the Food Dudes are partnering with Bluebird which is known for celebrating the connection between local artists and food.  Bluebird celebrates cuisine through a variety of ways such as graffiti, photography, sculpture, and more.

Great food, drinks, art, and entertainment will go on from 5pm to midnight and all you need to get in is a non-perishable food item to be donated to Toronto's Daily Bread Food Bank.  If you're interested in attending, send an email to olivia@thefooddudes.com to RSVP but hurry as space is limited!

Grey Ant Returns to Spectacle Queen West!

Spectacle is proud to be your exclusive source in Toronto for brand new pieces from American Eyewear brand Grey Ant!  A few months ago, we featured a model called the Status, pictured above. The reception was so positive to this distinct shape that we knew we had to bring in the rest of the collection as soon as it became available.

TD Toronto Jazz Festival Starts Today

Today is the beginning of the TD Toronto Jazz Festival.  The festival runs from June 20th until June 29th with events happening throughout the city.  It's known as one of North America's premier jazz festivals and includes performances from Willie Nelson, Smokey Robinson, and many more.

Luminato Starts Today in Toronto

Luminato - one of the largest art Festivals in Toronto - begins today!  Luminato is a Festival which brings together and celebrates artists from around the world and Canada.  It runs from June 14th through June 23rd with events sprawling the city featuring music, theatre, dance, visual arts, literature, and film.
