The new Philippe Starck Biosun Collection has arrived at Spectacle!  We have the new frames available now at the Queen St. West location.

What makes Philippe Starck so great is that he strives to create frames that are imaginative and timeless.  Philippe Starck is trained in architecture which has helped him to create such interesting, unique frames.

The new Biosun collection offers a variety of 3 unique lens options including polycarbonate, polycarbonate polarized, and mineral glass.  Philippe’s architectural and designing background really comes out in his hinge design which is modelled after the human shoulder.  As always, the Biosun collection includes this feature as well!

Mosley Tribes Contest Winners!

Junos 2012

The 2012 Juno Awards were last night and it was a great night for Spectacle friend, Dallas Green!  Dallas, or City and Colour, went home with the Songwriter of the Year award.  Congratulations Dallas and nice specs!

 The volcanic scenery of Iceland was the perfect setting for the 2012 collection from Orgreen.

 
Between harsh rocks and steaming mist stationed, the focus of the campaign is not solely on the eyewear but the overall picture of an adventurous and cultured lifestyle.

 

 The latest collection of eyewear Orgreen convinced by Scandinavian lifestyle as before with a mix of vintage and minimalism. Much use of metal, but also of material, mixes toned metals and colored acetate to create a straight-line design with dreamy style elements.
 

Dominant hue is blue, with a spread between light turquoise to deep dark blue tones.  Orgreen's 2012 collection is very clean and sharp in appearance and is excellent for those searching for a stylish, innovative frame.
